YES, terrible mistake
i messed up the paths. it's not /mnt/complete but /mnt/torrent/complete.

so sorry i missed,

new problem though after transmission update, when i change the settings in settings.json. after restarting the plug and/or the jail. the settings go back to standard.
anyone else has that?
what settings. some will get overwritten by FN, but it shouldn't overwrite settings it doesn't have available.

in transmission jail, srttings.json
when i changed the watch directory and umask and stuff. after restarting service, settings.json went back to original.
now i deleted the transmission plug-in and reinstalled, and i saw now the incomplete dir and umask can be changed in FN webui now. i did that.
i'm running a first test with a movie and a serie, looks good. i'll keep you up to date

thanks for the great work (again :p)

Logic would tell me that if I create a user and make him part of the wheel group, I should have rwx on the /media dataset.
For some reason that isn't happening.

Wanting to set it up so I can SFTP or NFS mount the media drive.

I must be missing something. Any ideas?

who owns the /media dataset?

try ls -l /

I would create a media user/ group with uid/gid 816 in FN. then add whatever user you want access to those files to that 'media' group (in FN). as long as the files are group writable this should work.

Hi,

Since I updated the Plex plugin from the freenas web interface, I get an error when updating the plugin from the web interface from the plugin itself.
Plex says when I want to update the server that something went wrong.

I have an media / media user which has acces to my files.

Is there something wrong in the plugin itself?

Thanks for your help!

I don't see how this has anything to do with the plugins being discussed here. I can't help much with plex

Joshua,
I've noticed that my transmission downloads complete, then start seeding based on my current setup, but never get removed.
My understanding was that the TorrentToMedia script would eventually remove the completed torrent.

Am I incorrect?

no the transmissiontomedia either removes it during the time it is run, or never. not sure how you would seed for a while, then delete it, but it'd need to be done by transmission.

Interesting.
So I have a feeling the script isn't being kicked off then.
I see the .json file is correct, so I'm wondering what's going on.

Whats the best way to debug this?

did you follow my blog exactly or were you trying to seed? I would double check your autoprocessmedia.cfg
there should be logs in /usr/local/share/nzbToMedia
