Hello Mav,

I would like to ask if TNC is eligible for commercial use?
I ran TrueNAS Core in an enterprise for many years. I probably built and maintained over 20 TNC NASes, the smallest being 4 disks and the largest being 360 disks. I also had TrueNAS Enterprise (the version you pay for) for many years as well. Honestly, once I saw how the TrueNAS Enterprise appliance was put together I just copied their design and installed TrueNAS Core on everything.

We can't stop people from duplicating work of our platform, QA, support and other departments. Sometimes things indeed just work. ;)

Old thread, but you likely need to look at power settings in your BIOS. Both for CPU and PCI devices. Before I tweaked my BIOS, I was maxing out at 20-24 Gbps iperf3. Afterwards I can hit 40 Gbps fairly easily. Single thread! I also had issues with speeds dropping down to embarrassing numbers over night. All that went away after tweaking BIOS. (Follow the Melllanox tuning doc)
