Also, obligatory "are you sure you need L2ARC?" test question. Current specs and workload please.

We run general VMware workloads on it, AD, Exchange, Terminal Services, SQL, etc.... So far both machines are running pretty good. Any comments, things I should change?

Try ipmitool fru to see if it will tell you anything, maybe ipmitool sdr list and see if it gives you a DIMM slot count.
