Can anyone who has moved from the Master Gollumn plugins for Sickbeard, Couchpotato and Sabnzbd share with me what they needed to back up and restore? I want to use these now, but don't want to have to re-do all my settings for the others. There an easy way to save configs for those and restore?

You need to do a refresh of all your wanted and managed, I had the same issue.

It must have been a refresh issue, because this morning it is now showing the images. I did not do anything since last night when it was not working.

Oh I was working off an import from the old plugin.

Yeah mine was a fresh install also, created a new jail and everything. I do not know why it did not work right after I installed the plugin.

Josh,

Thanks again for creating these.

I'm trying to install these in an existing jail, where I had the previous MG versions. I backed up their config and deleted those, but so far, I'm 2 for 2 on Couchpotato and Maraschino not starting. Tried using the default link from the admin interface to take me to the ports where they should be, and they're not there. IP is correct (I installed in the same jail as their predecessors so no changes to IP).

Is it possible that this requires a brand new jail to get these to work correctly, or is there something I can do/check/send to find out why these aren't starting up at all? I still have the old versions of sickbeard and SAB running in the same jail and they are running great, didn't install yours yet...Maybe they are getting in the way of CP and Mar working?

So starting from the gui doesn't work? Can you try running 'service couchpotato onestart' in the Jail?

Hmmm interesting...Got this:

Code:
root@plugins:/ # service couchpotato onestart
Starting couchpotato.
/usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64/bin/python: can't open file '/usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64/CouchPotato/CouchPotato.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/couchpotato: WARNING: failed to start couchpotato

I did look in the jail then and it seems that the CouchPotato folder is indeed totally missing. /usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64 is there but that's it.

What happened? Think I should delete, reboot, and retry the install? Permissions problem or something?

That's not my current CouchPotato script running. I'd uninstall the port, delete the zombie /usr/local/etc/rc.d/couchpotato script. And reinstall.

Also try 'service maraschino onestart' and see what the problem is.

Oh, and this isn't Windows, rebooting won't do a thing in this case.

Okay, getting closer now. I got rid of the zombie script you mentioned. However when I did a DELETE of the CP plugin in the GUI, got this:

Code:
Request Method: POST
Request URL: http://192.168.1.199/admin/plugins/plugins/delete/14/
Software Version: FreeNAS-9.1.1-RELEASE-x64 (a752d35)
Exception Type: AssertionError
Exception Value:
Plugins object can't be deleted because its id attribute is set to None.
Exception Location: /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/django/db/models/base.py in delete, line 670
Server time: Tue, 10 Dec 2013 00:30:54 -0500

FYI starting up maraschino by the command line in the jail worked great. It's now running. But somehow having that previous version of CP in this jail seems to be screwing yours up. Any way I can totally eradicate this sucker without having to set up another plugin jail?

I don't know about FreeNAS to help you with this.

No problem sir, may even be a FreeNAS bug. I probably should just scrap the entire jail and start over with a fresh jail for all your plugins to do it right. Was just being lazy and didn't want to have to re-do setup of all the other plugins I had running in there as well. Lazy me.

Goodluck, I'd backup your sab / sickbeard config as well just incase.

Will do - When restoring data folders from my old plugins, anything special I need to do as far as setting permissions, doing it inside the jail, etc?

I did a cp -r back on my data folder from CouchPotato to your new plugin folder and restarted and now the sucker doesn't want to start again.

I did a chown media:media -r on etc and copied the data files into ...../etc/couchpotato and overwrote what was there, now it's not starting up for me at all. I'll just keep trial and error until I get this, but is there a set strategy to copy over old data config files? Turn off the plugin then copy them over, then turn it back on, perhaps?

Yeah, make sure the program is off, copy over, set owner of just etc/couchpotato to 'media' user (in the jail, not necessarily the base system), start.
trying the service couchpotato onestart command will give you a hint if a stale pidfile exists.

hi, for couchpotato on freenas 9.1
I am getting this error
Code:
[ato.core.plugins.searcher] Tried to download, but none of the downloaders are enabled

And i am sure i set up the downloader correctly for sabnzbd section.

i also checked the config.ini it was updated to take the changes showing enabled on. I also tried to restart the nas but no go. still getting that error.

I'm eagerly awaiting the Installation & Setup guide for these plugins on Freenas 9.1.1, I'm not confident enough to start installing on my own (ever since I destroyed a Freenas 7 setup by trying this thing :()
