Updating doesn't break any of the previous configuration? All of the plugins will still work in concert?

as far as I know updating sabnzbd won't break anything. though, there's no simple way to update until they add it to the official repo

Thanks for the timely coverage on these kinds of issues as well as your efforts making the whole ecosystem work and documenting it for the rest of us. I really like my NAS a lot in no small part because of your plug-ins.

I keep getting the refreshing on my screen. I have stopped the service and restarted. I have rebooted etc and not going away. This is running in a jail on FreeNAS 9.2.x server.

Also looks like Sickrage not starting up when reboot service. When I try to start it via the FreeNAS gui it just stops. If anyone can help please let me know!

try starting it from the command line and see if there are errors.

service sickbeard onestart

That works. Just its stops whenever reboot now. Didn't in the past

sounds like sickbeard_enable="YES" isn't it /etc/rc.conf

so starting/stopping the service from freenas GUI still doesn't work? doing it though the GUI adds the line, so that the service knows to start on (re)boot

Correct. If I start in the GUI and they change tabs and go back it's still off. When I do the command service sickbeard onestart it starts but after reboot it's off and have issues again.

The SabNZBD update isn't working?
I click update, it messes about and just kinda stops - the plugin then turns itself off (which makes sense) but the update button remains, if I reboot the plugin, it loads up fine - but the old version.

Using the update button worked fine for me. I ended up on 0.7.19

Joshua any ideas as to how might fix this?
it should work automatically. but you can just run the following to have it work after (re)boot.

sysrc sickbeard_enable=YES

* vanilla sickbeard (not sickrage?)?
* can anyone confirm this. if so I can issue an update with the latest version to skip any broken updates

using standard sickbeard, clicking the update button shuts down the plugin, doesn't update, i can post logs if you let me know where to look.

Update button in the FreeNAS WebUI or the SickBeard WebUI?'
Logs would be in /usr/pbi/sickbeard-amd64/etc/sickbeard
