Adding custom packager to truecharts apps

Hello,

I started using truecharts applications on my TrueNAS Scale NAS. It works fine but I wonder if there is a way to add a custom package to an application? Python is already installed and available but I would like to add a python module.

Truecharts has its own support channels, which aren't here. Based on prior threads, I think the answer is going to be that this isn't supported, but best to ask there.

We just mirror the upstream containers. There are cases that we add some packages, but it's usually packages that a huge portion of users need it.

If it's a niche case, probably your best option is to clone our Catalog, build your own image and just change the reference to your image.
