The stable train populates the application catalog with the official applications. The Discover screen shows the stable train applications by default.

Applications in the stable catalog are added and maintained by iXsystems and are intended to expand system functionality far beyond what is typically expected from a NAS. Some apps replace deprecated services or functionality previously built into TrueNAS.

The tutorials in this section are for the commonly-used stable train catalog.

Understanding App Install Wizard Settings

  • Syncthing (Stable): Provides general information, guidelines, installation instructions, and use scenarios for the offical version of Syncthing in the stable app train.

  • Collabora: Provides basic configuration instructions for adding the Collabora app using the TrueNAS webUI.

  • MinIO: Tutorials for installing and using the MinIO charts application available in the stable train in TrueNAS SCALE.

  • Netdata: Provides information on installing and configuring the Netdata app on TrueNAS SCALE.

  • Storj: Provides information on setting up the Storj node app on your TrueNAS SCALE system.

  • WG Easy: Provides installation instructions for the WG Easy application.
