Sorry another question, would it be possible for you to create a clone of SickBeard so that it can run off another fork for anime?
Specifically this branch: http://sickbeard.lad1337.de/

I'm moving away from a Synology nas, and the guy making the packages for this has a separate SB install, and then it just asks you to put in the github url for the fork.
It then gives it a different port number so its not the same as origional SB.

Would this be doable at some point in the future?

Hey Josh,

Quick question. I have a spare 320gb drive attached that I want to use for my download/Jail drive.
How do you set it up in FreeNas for this?
In Volume management do you just set it up as a spare drive? Then create a new Jail using that volume and install all apps to this?

Can I then get it to post process over to another volume IE. My main volume with all my data?

I have mine set up this way as well. Very efficient and easy to do as long as you set up your SABnzbd download folder correctly.

Jail on volume 1 stores the jails and downloads. Post processing moves everything to media folder on volume 2

This is doable, you would need to run another instance of sickbeard in another jail. Then in one of them, change the source files '/usr/pbi/sickbeard-adm64/share/sickbeard/SickBeard' to those of the forks.

I can't seem to reproduce this. When I install CouchPotato it updates to the latest version during the install process.
You can try the below commands to re-download the CouchPotato source.

Code:
rm -r /usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64/share/couchpotato/CouchPotatoServer
fetch https://github.com/RuudBurger/CouchPotatoServer/archive/master.zip
unzip master.zip -d /usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64/share/couchpotato
rm master.zip
mv /usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64/share/couchpotato/CouchPotatoServer-master /usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64/share/couchpotato/CouchPotatoServer
chown -R media:media /usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64/share/couchpotato/CouchPotatoServer

Thanks Joshua! It worked to get me running again easier. I'll see what happens next time there is an update!

Hey Joshua,

I have Sickbeard v2.0 of your plugin installed. Is there any reason to upgrade to v2.1? If so, would I have to uninstall and reinstall the plugin (backing up my configs of course)?

Thank you!

no reason too. I replaced a library that might help with image manipulation performance.

I still haven't tested if in place upgrades break stuff. but yeah, backup of etc/sickbeard is always good.

Sounds good. Images are working fine for me as is. No need to upgrade what's not broken lol.

Is there any guide on how to configure headphones. Or how headphone works?

And when headphone search for things im getting 403 forbidden for the pirate bay for torrents. Because my nzb site doesnt have the particular type of music available. Is there a way to enter other torrent sites that are not listed within headphones?

Non of these questions are FreeNAS specific so you may have more luck asking in other venues.
this thread might be helpful http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=103688

Josh i was meaning to ask...

Why are you waiting for/using nzbToMedia?
Surely these days all our hardware should be more than powerful enough cope with the built in post processing?

Also you are adding complexity and reliance on another plugin?
What if they break it, or if a SB update comes out and breaking it?
It just means more work for you... Surely the built in processing is more than adequate?

Just wondering?

Not waiting anymore, update is out, I just need to test it. Been busy finishing up my subsonic PBI.

As for why I use it, I like how the scripts run immediately rather than polling. I guess it is a bit more complex, but I was already using the 'built in' postprocessing script that ships with sickbeard, so it wasn't a bit change for me when I switched over.

Woo, subsonic plugin, I can drop that extra jail.

Also looking forward to nzbToMedia. Thanks for all your hard work.

Looks to be that way. You can change either of their ports in their GUI

Ok. by any chance you know how to add a custom torrent or we can only use the torrents listed in headphones?

I have no idea. I haven't used headphones much.

Another question.... Is CouchPotato updating through Git? I've tried updating through the GUI of CouchPotato but it doesn't seem to be updating the files.

I noticed this when I started getting errors with nzbToMedia. Clinton had updated nzbToMedia to work with the latest version of CouchPotato but I was getting errors because it wasn't the latest, even though I thought it was.

Please have a look at the issue I posted on GitHub: https://github.com/clinton-hall/nzbToMedia/issues/250

Is there something I'm doing wrong with installing the CouchPotato plugin? Or is there a way I can update through Git?

Nope, it updating using the 'source' method. Someone else had a problem updating so I suspect there was a bad update somewhere down the line (this is on CouchPotato's side and I recall this happening a few times in the past). I posted a manual fix, you should try this.

This doesn't seems to affect new installbecause CouchPotato because CouchPotato grabs the latest versions when you go through initial install.
